If you are planning to visit your doctor for advice, below are five points that you may want to discuss during your appointment: 

Symptoms – write down (or bring a print out of the symptom checker with you) the type of symptoms that you are experiencing and discuss them with your doctor 

Impact – are the symptoms stopping you from doing things with your hands that you used to do or is impact on your life minimal?

Severity – how severe is your disease and it get worse? 

Treatment – are you eligible for treatment and if so, what are the options available? 

Next steps – what should you do next? Should you visit another specialist?
